EWC 2026 CS2 pickem
Rules
Pick every match. Most points wins. Everything else is detail.
How it works
- Pick the winner of all 15 playoff matches, from the round of 16 through the grand final.
- You can only pick from teams you advanced. A later match stays closed until both matches feeding it have been picked.
- Change an early pick and everything downstream of it clears. That is deliberate, a bracket has to stay legal.
- One entry per CS2skin account. The first submission is the one that counts, so do not submit a rough draft.
- There is a third place match at this event. It is not part of the pickem.
Scoring
Later rounds are worth more, so the bracket stays alive until the end.
| Round | Matches | Points each |
|---|---|---|
| Round of 16 | 8 | 1 |
| Quarterfinals | 4 | 2 |
| Semifinals | 2 | 4 |
| Grand final | 1 | 8 |
| Maximum | 15 | 32 |
A pick scores only if that exact team won that exact match. If you advanced a team that already lost, every later pick you made with that team scores zero. There is no partial credit and no consolation for a near miss.
Tiebreakers
Level on points, these run in order until the tie breaks.
- Picked the champion correctly.
- Picked both grand finalists correctly.
- More correct semifinal picks.
- More correct quarterfinal picks.
- Whoever submitted first.
Submission time is recorded by the database when your entry lands, not by your browser. There is no tiebreaker question to fill in.
Prizes
| Place | Coins |
|---|
Coins are credited to the CS2skin account whose username you entered. Enter it exactly. We cannot move a prize to a different account after the fact, and we do not chase people for corrections.
Lock time
Entries close when the first playoff match starts. After that the form is gone and no late entry counts, whatever the reason. Entries are timestamped by the database and anything that lands after the lock is thrown out when the standings are calculated.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older.
- Your Steam account must be linked to your CS2skin account. Entries from accounts with no linked Steam account do not count. This is how we keep bots and throwaway accounts out.
- You need a CS2skin account in good standing to receive a prize.
- One entry per person and per account. Entering under several names to cover more brackets gets all of those entries removed.
- One entry per internet connection. The second entry from the same connection is refused when you submit it, not quietly dropped later. Two people on one home connection or behind the same mobile network cannot both enter, and we are not able to make an exception.
- CS2skin staff can enter and appear on the leaderboard, but cannot take a prize.
- Where local law does not allow this kind of promotion, it does not apply to you.
Prizes are only paid to usernames that match a real CS2skin account. Entries under invented names are removed before anything is paid out.
The small print
- The leaderboard is public. Submitting means your CS2skin username appears on it.
- We record your IP address with your entry. It is what enforces the one entry per connection rule above, and it is used to check for people entering several times under different names. It is deleted once prizes are paid.
- If a match is cancelled, forfeited or decided by an administrative ruling, the result recorded by the tournament organiser is the result we score.
- If the bracket changes shape for a reason outside our control, we will score what was played and say so on this page.
- We can remove any entry we believe was made to game the contest, including scripted or duplicate entries.
- This promotion is run by CS2skin. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Esports World Cup Foundation, Valve Corporation, or any competing team or organisation.
